The Look

A tribute to Ralph McQuarrie, the artist who created the look and feel of the Star Wars universe. He was an incredibly prolific artist who created almost compulsively. Even today, nearly a decade after his death and more than three decades after his last involvement in a Star Wars film, his artwork is still used as the basis for design in new Star Wars projects. He is every bit as much responsible for Star Wars as we know it as George Lucas is -- something which Lucas freely admits.
