Here's an interesting bit of history. These are membership cards for Prohibition-era Chicago speakeasies. Remember that this was at a time when color printing was expensive and time-consuming. You couldn't just spit out full-color business cards on your home computer in a few minutes. The quality and variety of cards on display gives some idea of just how well-organized it really was. Prohibition has to rank in the top five Dumbest Ideas in Human History. When the government tries to tell you how to live your life, "Fuck off" is the most polite response it should ever recieve.
