The Dumbest

Just when you think the Great Society has finally produced its ultimate trump card, it goes one better:

Stephen Daniel, 21, held up a petrol station in Snellville, near Atlanta, Georgia, with a police officer queuing just a few feet behind him.

After shouting 'Yo! Give me all the money in the ******* register! Right now!' the cash was piled into a bag by the laughing manager of the store, who was looking at the cop not the robber, and then Daniel turned around to be promptly arrested.

The police officer, Lt. B.W. Brown, said that nabbing Daniel was 'the easiest arrest of his career'.

'I knew what he was doing and I thought, "surely he's not dumb enough to do that with me standing right behind him." The manager was laughing as he put the money in the bag. Then the whole store started laughing,' he said.

Sorry to have to tell you this Stevie old boy, but the StupidPrison&trade is stuffed beyond capacity. Cake or death?
