Moderation:
But hey, at least the "moderate Muslims" are condemning it...
Erm... or maybe not. Read that last bit carefully; this "moderate" wasn't condemning the fact that a family's lives were ruined and a little girl traumatized over a dot being made in the wrong place on a school writing project. No, he's unhappy because she wasn't properly educated on where to put the dot. The actions, in his opinion, were justified; the cause of the actions was not.
Stupid fucking barbarians.
We need a lot more Mr Heinleins in the world, and a whole lot less Mr Naqshbandis. Unfortunately, we're going in the opposite direction.
A HEARTBROKEN girl has been kicked out of school and her family has been evicted – because she made a spelling mistake.
Faryal Bhatti, 13, was allegedly beaten by her teacher then expelled for making the “blasphemous” error in an exam when she accidentally misplaced a dot.
The youngster had written a poem in Urdu praising Islamic prophet Mohammed but the slight mistake meant she put the word “curse” instead of “hymn”. The Christian girl’s slip in Pakistan enraged Muslims in the area.
Fellow students at the girl’s school in Abbottabad campaigned for Faryal to be prosecuted, there was a demonstration on the streets and Muslim leaders called for swift action to be taken against the youngster’s family.
They were evicted and Faryal’s mum, Sarafeen Bhatti, lost her job as a nurse and was forced to transfer to another hospital 50 miles away.
But hey, at least the "moderate Muslims" are condemning it...
The reaction to the teenager’s spelling error has been condemned by moderate Islamic groups.
Ziaul Haq Naqshbandi, of the Tahafuz-e-Namoos-e-Risalat Mahaz, said: “The real culprit is the man who set this question paper for the Christian girl.
“If you are not taught Islam during your childhood then even a Muslim student can make such a mistake.”

"Of all the strange 'crimes' that human beings have legislated out of nothing, 'blasphemy' is the most amazing-- with 'obscenity' and 'indecent exposure' fighting it out for second and third place." - Robert Heinlein
