I've loved this story since I first read it in college.

There are so many Make's-You-Think moments in it. All the more relevant today.

Showtime made it into a movie with Chris Plummer back in the the mid 90's. Movie was standard quality one expects from a Showtime movie made in the mid-90's. But its at least worth viewing once.
