Ronald Reagan Presidential Library

The MadAngel and I were in Los Angeles a couple of weeks ago, mainly for a business trip but we managed to tack on some vacation time as well.  While we were there we decided to visit the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, a 45 min drive from L.A.  It was amazing.  If you ever find yourself in the People's Republic of California close to LA I very much recommend a visit.  Lots of artifacts, lots or writings, pictures, film clips of speeches and events.  For those of us lived through the 70's and life during Carter's administration, its almost chilling to bring back memories of how bad things had gotten...then, how much the mood of the country changed during Reagan's first term.
