Creating Caves

I have spent the better part of the last two decades in and around commercial and industrial construction projects, many of them quite large. I have thus become rather blasé about such things. Even so, this is impressive. It's the new subway project in -- or rather under -- Manhattan.

Media pundits and self-appointed "experts" like to throw out tired cliches about how difficult it was to build the Great Pyramids or the Great Wall of China and how "we couldn't do it today even with all of our machines." Whatever. All the slave labor and bronze pick axes in the world wouldn't build this.

Piclick for more.

So, when do we find the dragon? Oh, wait a minute, that was under London. Sorry. I withdraw my comment.
