Environmentalists exaggerate number of extinctions

Conservationists are overestimating the number of species that have been driven to extinction, scientists have said.
A study has found that a third of all mammal species declared extinct in the past few centuries have turned up alive and well.

The article goes on with the same claptrap about how conservationists are claiming a mass extinction on the scale of the dinosaurs is being created by us, but when have they not. For the past 30 years I have heard how we only have ten years to "do something" before we destroy the planet. The thing that gets me is that every year, nay, every day, they predict the end of the planet unless we make drastic changes in our lives, yet every time they get it wrong, they just make another prediction and the MSM and the left eat it up and spout it back out to us and want to turn more power over to the Government so they can "fix" it. They are worse than a cult believing in spaceship comets. Put down the kool-aid, and come out into the real world.
