I saw this article yesterday and the thing that caught my attention is that the cities that are the Bastions of Liberal thinking were the most racially divided.

The two things I took away from it were that liberals talk a good game, but they seem to be a proponent of the "not in my backyard" mentality.
The other is that, shocker, people like to hang out and live near people who are like them. Wether it be race, ethnicity, religion, economic status or just favorite sports team, people gravitate to people of similar interests. Just like this blog. I'm sure that all seven people who follow it are predominantly middle aged males that can quote Sci-fi and Monty Python, and know for a fact that Bovine overlords are trying to conquer this planet
