The first domino falls...

The following memo is from our corporate HR department:

-----Original Message-----
Subject: Quick Fact: Flex Spending Accounts & Healthcare Reform

Hi everyone!

You may have heard of this already - and some of you may be using your flex to stock pile OTC meds in preparation - but the health care reform made a few significant changes to Flexible Spending Accounts.

Effective 1/1/2011, certain OTC (over-the-counter) medications are no longer eligible to be purchased using your flex account unless you get a prescription for them. This means that you'd have to pay for an office visit just to get a prescription so that you can pay with these meds using your flex dollars (unless, of course, you have a doctor who will give you a prescription without an office visit).

A summary of these types of medications is included below in the News Wire from HR Simplified. The detailed list will not be available until December 15, 2010.

Effective 1/1/2013, the maximum amount you can elect for medical flex will be reduced to $2500 per year.

The announcement about OTC medications & flex will be included in open enrollment materials for everyone. I just wanted to give you a heads up so you can answer any questions that may already be circulating.

Thanks, and have a great week!

#*&$!

This is only a tiny part of what those assholes Obama, Pelosi, and Reid have created, and it's gonna get a lot worse before we can unfuck this disaster. Twenty-four years ago, I volunteered to keep this country safe from communists and their ilk; seeing this kind of crap happen makes me so mad I want to scream. Goddamned power hungry donkey-raping commie asshats.

That's right: I called Obama an asshole. And I'll call him a prick, too. Just try to kick me out of the country, you little pinko monkey fondlers. You'll learn what we Southerners are referring to when we talk about a "ruckus".
