Google Ga-ga
Google's gettin' a little big for their breeches:
It's cheaper still to acknowledge the truth: man-made global warming is a myth. No fixin' required.
I have a simpler plan, and it will cost the taxpayers $0.00, (which is somewhat less than $4.5 trillion, in case you're wondering): Drill our own oil.
Problem solved. I win.
Do I get your salary now, you over-paid egotist? But wait... I see a method to your madness:
And therein lies the real goal: increased profits, fueled by taxpayer dollars. I've decided I don't want your salary. I'll settle for your head on a pike on Pennsylvania Avenue. We'll be sure you have lots of company.
The United States government has been unable to fix the country's energy problems, Google Chief Executive Eric Schmidt said, but the Internet giant on Wednesday proposed its own 22-year solution.
Schmidt said the plan requires $4.5 trillion in spending to pull it off, but it'll pay for itself with $5.5 trillion in savings. "With this plan, it's cheaper to fix global warming than it is to ignore it," Schmidt said.
It's cheaper still to acknowledge the truth: man-made global warming is a myth. No fixin' required.
The general plan consists of various efforts to save energy; a shift to renewable wind, geothermal, and solar energy; and a complete cessation of energy from coal and oil and halving of natural gas.

"We save a lot of money when prices go down. It's good for shareholders, good for earnings," he said.

Well, there is one good thing about the bailout. Congress is to busy socializing the financial district, they are not paying attention to the Gorebal warming nuts out there that are trying to turn a buck. Of course I haven't read all 470 pages, so there may be a little slice of pork pie for these nut jobs.
I spoke to soon, there are tax credits for research into alternative energy and up to a 50% tax credit on facilities that create bio-celulose, bio-fuels built before 2013. As you know I am not a big proponent of bio-fuels, due to the fact that to create them you have to use actual food products. This has had the effect of reducing the amount of food stuffs available and raised the price of many food items down the supply line ( meat products, milk, other veggies and grains) If they could find a way to do it with the left over vegetable matter that would be a different story ( ie: the corn stalk, the bean plant)
Looking at the other "pork" items added, they seem to be on the lines of tax breaks for businesses, instead of direst cash outlays. They want to give tax breaks to businesses, I am fine with that, because as you know BUSINESSES DO NOT PAY TAXES (Capitalized for emphasis), so by cutting them a tax break they are cutting us a tax break. I have to admit though, that when you hear a few of them, they do sound odd. Such as the .39 cent per arrow on wooden arrow tax credit, or the extension on tax credit on Puerto Rican rum.( personally, I think we should cut Puerto Rico loose and treat them as a foriegn country).
Don't get me wrong, I still believe the bailout was a bad bill. A very very bad bill, that will cost us and our children in the future. The "pork", however, not as bad as I thought.
Someone should remind this dick; he bought and pimped out a freaking 767 so it only flies 15 people. This guy’s carbon footprint is the size of Idaho! Google is the definition of hypocrisy, it amazes me people have such a positive opinion of this company. They stand up for “freedom of information” with their Google earth images to all western governments who voice concern (and I don’t really disagree) and then bend over backwards for the Chinese and censored everything! I’m not the least bit surprised to learn Eric is an adviser to Barack Obama. Peas in a pod if you ask me.
