Blogging by candlelight

As some of you may have heard a few of us had a visit from Ike over the weekend. I've been able to talk with Jar(egg)head and confirm that he and his family made it through ok. I've been unable to reach Churt but Jar(egg)head has confirmed Churt and his family are also ok. All three of us may be off "the grid" for a few days while civilization (i.e. power, broadband, air conditioning, telephones) are restored. I had a couple hours of laptop battery and a moment of reliable phone service so I'm posting this message for those who might have been wondering.
