SketchUp

In their continuing quest to dominate the universe, Google has released their SketchUp software. It's a 3D modeling package, and I must admit it's impressive.

Where the average user is concerned, it's leaps and bounds ahead of ultra-complex software such as Autodesk's 3D Studio. It's a very simple interface for constructing virtual three dimensional models in an intuitive, easy-to-understand environment. And the price is right, coming to a grand total of $0.

Download it here. Kick the tires and take it out for a spin. I think you'll like it.
