One Flu Over the Cuckoo's Nest

The sky is falling:

If the U.S. government does nothing, a deadly global flu outbreak is likely to strike a third of the population, according to the results of a computer simulation published in Thursday's journal Nature.

So be on the lookout for that dreaded simulated flu virus. Millions of simulations could become deathly ill with little or no warning!

I'm not positive exactly when Nature made the transformation from a reputable scientific journal into a scare-mongering rag, but it's certainly happened. It's very sad, as they were the last bastion of respectability among popular scientific publications, after Scientific American became a mongrel whore for the global warming fanatics nearly a decade ago--when I cancelled my subscription.

I've allready filed a law suite against FEMA. The rest of you lozers are gonna have line behind me.
