DigiMorph

The University of Texas has created an interesting website called DigiMorph, short for "digital morphology," which allows you to examine in detail the morphology of many different animals. Using the InspeCTor tool, you can browse CT-scan slices of the animals in real time, as well as view various animations.

Here, for example, is the page for Polypterus senegalus, more commonly called a Cuvier's Bichir or Dinosaur Eel, a recent addition to my home aquarium.
