The Answer Man
A pack of busy-bodies is busy trying to foist their load of feel-good, happy-thought, flower child crap onto the rest of the population, (that would be those of us who have real jobs, by definition).
In order to speed along their "research," I've decided to answer their questions for them:
Q: Some researchers now want to know how we understand metaphors,
A: I.Q. above room temperature.
Q: why we "get" sarcasm (or don't)
A: I.Q. above 120.
Q: and how soon we become cynical.
A: Inversely proportional to intellect. 140 I.Q. or above, cynicism sets in around your early teens--approximately the same time you realize that nearly everyone with a voter's registration card is too stupid to cook their own dinner.
