Stimulating Stupidity
Uh... what?
Got that? Increased government spending and an influx of unskilled peasants (who will instantly become new welfare recipients) into a flat economy is going to "supercharge" it... You gotta be a special kinda stupid to even think that, let alone say it in public.
The reality, of course, is that this will destabilize the German economy even further, and that's bad for everybody, not just Germans. Their economy is the only thing remotely like a functional one in Europe right now -- which is a sad commentary on the state of Europe as a whole, for which they can thank the technocrats in the EU. If the Germans fall down a rat hole, the rest of Europe will follow them.
Remember that desperate people start wars; they have nothing to lose, after all. If the Muslims achieve a cultural critical mass in the next few years, the smallest spark of warfare could plunge Europe into an explosion of religious violence the likes of which it hasn't seen since the Thirty Years War.
Though they are totally ignorant of the effects of their actions, the vapid Leftists in both Europe and the United States are simply accelerating the onset of the inevitable clash of civilizations between Islam and Judeo-Christian culture. When the wheels finally come off, things will descend quickly into a state of chaos which may last months or even years. I suggest you have spare ammo on hand. If you're in Europe... well, sorry; you're fucked. Maybe take a karate class. Or start reading the Koran.
The German government is banking on the refugees arriving in its cities by the thousands each day to help turbocharge its economy and offset the effects of weaker demand from China.
Increased state spending on refugees and private consumption will drive growth in Europe's largest economy this year and next, German Vice Chancellor and Economy Minister Sigmar Gabriel said.

SMH. Spending and consumption will drive growth? Really? Are leftists THAT stupid? (Rhetorical)
This is why I object to the term "trickle down economics". It implies the same top-down economic model that leftists assume is the basis of economic growth. CONSUMPTION does not drive growth, PRODUCTION does. This simple, obvious relationship completely escapes leftists. That is why they cannot understand why raising the minimum wage has a negligible effect on the standard of living. They think money descends from the government like manna from heaven, and the more the better. They completely fail to understand the economics of production - that raising wages raises costs and therefore prices, negating any "gains" from higher wages. Factor in reduced employment and inflation and you get a net loss. Sofa King Stupid.
Unfortunately, explaining even basic economic concepts to a leftist is like trying to teach chess to a cat. You just waste your time and annoy the cat.
