It Came From The River

This Demag SdKfz 250 halftrack was recently dredged from a Polish river. It is in exceptionally good condition (for its age, anyway) as it was buried in deep clay which helped to preserve it. Even the tires are intact. What's really amazing to me, however, is how very small it is. Well, you know what they say: everybody looks bigger in the movies. Piclick for more photos.
