Keep Austin Stupid

Braindead in Austin:

Students at the University Of Texas at Austin are planning to protest a new law that permits the concealed carry of handguns on campus — with dildos.

The “campus carry” law passed by the Texas legislature and signed by the Governor in June, requires UT Austin and the other campuses in the UT system to allow students to carry guns on campus. It gives the schools some discretion on how to implement the law.

The protest is designed to draw attention to the fact that carrying a dildo to class could be “prohibited expression” under university rules. The rules prohibit “any writing or visual image, or engage in any public performance, that is obscene.”

“You’re carrying a gun to class? Yeah well I’m carrying a HUGE DILDO. Just about as effective at protecting us from sociopathic shooters, but much safer for recreational play,” the organizer, Jessica Jin, wrote.

I'm not really enthralled with that whole "Keep Austin Weird" movement. I'm much more a fan of the "Nuke Austin Into A Radioactive Smoking Crater" initiative. It's a cancer at the heart of the greatest State ever to grace the Union. It is full of politicians, leftists, unappreciative scions of privilege and other noxious societal pests. Any adult who would state that a sex toy is "just about as effective at protecting us [as a gun]" is obviously struggling through her existence under the burden of a sub-par intelligence. Her words should be credited with weight precisely equaling the drool-punctuated mutterings of a five year-old afflicted with severe Down's Syndrome.

Once again, I submit that if the muzzies really want to nuke American cities, all they have to do is sit down at the table with us. We'll provide an acceptable target list and even the requisite devices. The cities on the list -- San Francisco, Austin, et al -- are guaranteed to be chock full of every kind of deviant which Muslims hate. Heck, we'll even give 'em an escort. As a bonus, we rid ourselves of an annoying thorn in our paw while maintaining a distance from whence we can look into the camera and shrug in confusion.

As Joan Rivers used to say: Can we talk?

Ironically brandishing dildos is against Texas law

Sec. 43.22. OBSCENE DISPLAY OR DISTRIBUTION. (a) A person commits an offense if he intentionally or knowingly displays or distributes an obscene photograph, drawing, or similar visual representation or other obscene material and is reckless about whether a person is present who will be offended or alarmed by the display or distribution.
(b) An offense under this section is a Class C misdemeanor.

I've also heard through the interwebs Dildos are banned from campus, but I really don't care enough to look it up. Now, I don’t personally agree with this law, but they are doing a excellent job demonstrating the effectiveness laws have banning illegal items.
