Vacation Spot

Along with 74 OD deaths from heroin last month, you can add 60 murders in the lovely Windy City during the month of September, which breaks their previous record-high murder count dating from 2002.

Compared to 2014, shooting incidents were up 19 percent, and the number of shooting victims was up 14 percent.


Good thing Chicago has all those gun control laws, huh? Of course, the CBS article blathers on about how many "illegal guns" the police are confiscating, while completely ignoring the fact that shooting rates are a fraction of Chicago's numbers in states and cities without municipal laws which violate the Second Amendment. Doesn't fit the narrative, you see.

In any case, Chicago becomes a bigger hellhole every day. Maybe we should forget about the fence at the Mexican border and focus on building walls around the northeastern U.S. cities. I've always thought this was a good look for NYC:
