Thursday Tunes

Moon Trance by "pop violinist" Lindsey Stirling. It's a hard piece to describe. In the slower parts, it's like the soundtrack to a Gothic horror movie. When it gets energetic, it really gets up -- like Jean-Luc Ponty suddenly got Irish blood. What there's no denying is that she's an extraordinarily talented fiddle player.

Yes, she is quite amazing. Michelle and I have been following her on her YouTube channel and got to see her at the House of Blues about a year or so ago when he's was in Houston.
