National Guard Not Welcome This Time At San Francisco LGBT Pride Weekend; Chelsea Manning Is

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — Organizers of San Francisco’s pride weekend festivities have yanked the welcome mat away from the National Guard, voting to ban the Guard from setting up a booth at the festival. The decision comes at the same time Pride organizers are allowing a controversial Army private who leaked military secrets to be honorary grand marshal.

One of this Countries founding principles is freedom of association, which to me means the ability to associate with whom you chose and to not associate with those you do not wish to. Some may call me racist, or homophobic for this point of view, but the people I choose to associate with have similar likes and dislikes, such as Sports, Cars, and good food. I don't really care what you look like, or who you choose to screw. People I choose not to associate with are busy bodies always trying to tell everyone else how to live their lives, and Ideologues. Good for you, you're passionate about something (here's a cookie), but don't try and label me or FORCE everyone to your way of thinking.

A good example of this is Marriage. Marriage is a religious institution, not a civil/government one. The only reason Government is involved is divorce. Same sex marriage? No. Government completely out of the marriage business? Where do I sign up. People were getting married long before the Federalies stuck their nose in, and people will be getting married long after this country is gone. American slaves were not allowed to marry, and yet they still did. Again, freedom of association.

The reason I used this article and went off on this rant is that the LGBT group continually scream "Tolerance! Acceptance! You don't have the right to judge me!" and yet they judge, and ban, and don't accept the National Guard. I could understand if this was an anti-war, peace rally, but this is about the acceptance of a lifestyle, and they allowed the Guard there last year.(The booth was manned by Gay/Lesbian troops). I abhor intolerance, but I hate hypocrisy.

The miniscule but vocal 2 to 3 percent LGBT believers. The latest intolerant religious group in this country. Read one of the summaries of "After the Ball" to see how these zealots determined how to sell their beliefs in this country. They have been very effective, but in the end as much as they are told to lie and say they are 10% of the population (this has been something they have been doing back to the 50's), they are still numerically an insignificant sex cult that will become unheard of when this country finishes its fail.

I do not confine my dislike for the residents of San Francisco to their sexual preferences.
