Stupid Democrat Tricks
In an attempt to make their "point" (whatever the hell that might be), the raggedy collection of boofas, democrats and windowlickers who suck down tax money under the name of National Parks Service have been attempting to barricade the World War II Memorial in Washington and prevent people entering. If you've not seen it, the WWII Memorial is a park. It's wide open. There is no building. It's part of the Mall. It is, in fact, landscaping. But they're trying to close it down with barricades and prevent Honor Flights of elderly WWII veterans from entering. It ain't working so well for them:

Yeah, you go ahead and arrest a bunch of elderly vets, you ignorant government leech. See how well that publicity plays out for that lying socialist piece of shit squatting in my Oval Office.
Many elderly veterans, some in wheelchairs, broke through the barriers set up around the memorial, as police, park service employees, and tourists looked on.

"We will make the call this Friday to determine if the flight is still a go, or if we will have to re-schedule," Armstrong explains.
He says they are considering going ahead with the trip even if the government is still on shutdown, but when he called the parks service, he was told they would face arrest. "I said, are you kidding me? You're going to arrest a 90 year-old veteran from seeing his memorial? If it wasn't for them it wouldn't be there. She said, 'That's correct sir.'"
When Armstrong asked for her name, he says she did not give it to him and then promptly hung up the phone.

I'm glad you linked to this, because I was going to do so Today. The Government shutdown closes all non-essential spending, offices and personnel. That means that Social Security,unemployment,disability,WIC, foodstamp,housing checks keep rolling. In other words, if you "Gets a check" as I am told many times at crimes scenes by upstanding citizens, you will feel no affects. What is closed is public places. I understand shutting a place where you can just turn a deadbolt and it is closed, but apparently the national mall is closed. So are the Lincoln, and Jefferson memorial. They PAID someone to deliver and then set up barricades. This is grandstanding at its worse. In the past this tactic has worked and people demanded it get "fixed", but the Dems have gone to this well to many times, and they have messed with the wrong demographic...Old people and Vets. The Lemmings are being stirred up by this and realize what is going on, in spite of what the MSM is spouting. The Progressives have overplayed their hand this go round. We shall see who will benefit from it. Hopefully the American people in the long run, but I wouldn't hold your breath.
