Apple created the niche market between smartphones and laptops by making a viable tablet. Looks like Samsung, not to be outdone, as decided they want to create a new niche between smartphones and tablets.

We can call it the Too-big-to-use-as-a-phone-but-too-small-to-use-as-a-tablet niche. :)

How I long for the days when I had to find a pay phone when I wanted to make a phone call while away from home, when my PDA was a notepad and pen, when I had to open a bottle of aspirin if I wanted a tablet, when.... Hold on a sec, I just got a status update message.
