Friday Timewaster

Herokon Online, a browser-based, F2P MMO. It's kind of a mix-up of Diablo and EverQuest. What I really love about it is the art. It's gorgeous. Everything is lovingly hand-painted, down to the tiniest detail. Here, click on this thumb for a full-screen image and you'll see what I mean...



Give it a spin. Just be aware there's only one server currently accessible and it's German. The game text has been translated to English, but if you no sprechen sie deutsche, you're outta luck reading the global chat. (Actually, most people are speaking in a gamers' patois of German, English and Spanish. You'll be able to reason it out, if for some reason you want to read global chat -- which I do not.)
