Liptard

A thug in England robbed a chick at knifepoint. The victim went to the police, who made one of those computerized suspect sketches of him:

Those white things across his lip aren't a graphics glitch. That's what I thought at first...

The knifeman is described as white, aged in his late 20s or early 30s, of medium build with the silver studs across his top lip.

Genius.

This past weekend, I was in the local home improvement/hardware/appliance/whatever store picking up some toys... I mean tools I needed. Anyway, there was a middle-aged woman walking in front of me on an aisle, and I kept seeing a glint of light from the back of her calf. I thought it was glitter or something stuck to her leg and thought no more of it. Then when I was checking out, I noticed that the girl ringing up my purchase had a diamond stud stuck into the back of her forearm. The skin around it was slightly reddened, as if she'd just jabbed it in there...

WTF, over? Is this the New Thing? Jab pieces of steel and stone into various random places on your body?

I'm too old to comment on the hardware craze, but I have positively ID'd the subject.
