Hate Words

Moist. Apparently, more people hate that word than any other in the English language. I don't mean what the word represents; I mean the word itself. Its sound and appearance. To the point that it will make some people physically ill.

Myself, I have no problem with moist. Just a word. Now, you wanna irritate me, say "yummy." Grrr.... I HATE that word. My wife's pet peeve word? "Tissue." She'll glare at you if you say it once; twice and you'll be ducking flying objects.

So, what's your "hate word(s)"?

I'm surprised I didn't even think of Clinton in my list. Either that was a complete slip or when compared against the likes of carter and obama, the self serving horny bastard is still more likeable, pragmatic, and adaptable. Just a lesson in how things can always get worse.

"Give Back" annoys the shit out of me. I earned what I got, nobody "gave" anything to me, especially not my community or any damned liberals.
But I wouldn't call them hate words, that implies hate crime and thought crime, both of which can land you in jail these days, especially if one uses "hate" and "Obama" together.
