Doom! DOOOOM!

An entertaining infographic about various doomsday predictions throughout history. Sadly, it appears on past evidence as though the world will not come to an end on December 21st of this year. That's right, we'll all have to keep getting up and going to work. Damn the luck.

You people on the fringe right who insist on taking Pat Robertson seriously will note that he's predicted the end of the world on several occasions. So did Martin Luther, various Popes (who were probably just jealous they didn't have a Popemobile), and everybody's favorite religious nutball, Joseph "Magic Hat" Smith. You'd think all that kindness, charity and brotherly love stuff would make them more cheerful, wouldn't you?
