Wash my mouth out with soap.....

As much as I hate to say it, I agree with PA Gov. Rendell. We are becoming a nation of wussies. As a regular course of my job, I hear more whining than actual legitimate complaints. I can only imagine it getting worse, not better, over time.
Or am I just too cynical?

No, that is known as the codger quotient. The older you get the less tolerant of complainers, whiners and candy-asses you become.

When you were young, you listened to girls complain because you wanted to get into their pants and thought they like guys who listen to them. As you got older you realized it was a natural condition of women to complain and that they would not let you near their naughty bits even if you did listen or did nice things for them, they just pushed you to the friend zone and slept with the douchebag from the office.

You listened to strangers and guys complain because your parents taught you to be nice and courteous, but now that you're older you realize you don't have to listen to it and are frankly tired of hearing people complain about a long line, or how their Latte doesn't have enough foam, when you have been in the military and had living conditions and food that would violate the Geneva convention.

All you want to do is bitch slap them and tell them to SHUT THE FUCK UP AND DEAL WITH IT ASSHOLE!

That is the codger quotient, also known as the curmudgeon factor, or the "Im getting to the point in life I don't really care what you think" zone.

Ah! Thanks for the explanation, Davis. I now realize that I've been squatting in the middle of that zone for the past decade. Comfy in here, actually. It's also rather sparsely populated, as there's an IQ test at the zone line.

Does that IQ test consist of one question?
How do you create wealth?
A. A person sees a need that he believes he can meet and risks capital and time to create a business to meet that need. If the demand is great enough he will turn a profit allowing him to expand and hire more people and create more wealth.

B. The Government prints money which creates wealth and there is an endless supply as long as you keep taxing those evil rich people..OOOH did you see what Jennifer Aniston was wearing to the SAG awards OMG!
