Love him or hate him, I thought he was one of the funniest comedians around.

I thought he was great, I saw him live once back in the early-90s with a group of friends and he had us rolling. Sadly it seemed over the last few years his humor had turned more bitter and angry than funny. At least, that's all I ever got to see.
