I am not happy about our choices for President this go around either. I will vote for Mccain as I see him as the less of the two Socialists. I would vote a third party or not at all, but my fear is that if too many people do that we will get the Clinton effect and B. Hussein Obama will be elected, and the election of a Socialist is something I cannot abide. (If you remember, Perot pulled many conservative votes from Bush, thus allowing Clinton to win his first term)
There is one bit from a speech by McCain that has always stood out for me when it comes thinking about the choice between these two men.
"I don't seek the presidency on the presumption I'm blessed with such personal greatness that history has anointed me to save my country in its hour of need. I seek the office with the humility of a man who cannot forget my country saved me."
