They're baaaack... maybe.

I know the Mad Builder will be pleased by this news, as he's a loyal fan of the original mini-series. Or at least a loyal fan of hot-a-licious lizard-babe Jane Badler. (Always preferred Faye Grant myself, but there's no accounting for taste.)

Yeah, a most excellent hot-a-licious lizard-babe...er...I mean show.

I'll admit, looking back on episodes of the TV Series when it was re-run on SciFi, it didn't hold up as well as I remembered. So it is entirely possible that I was influenced by elements in the show...uhm...other than the writing. *k0f* :)

The Original Mini-Series however, holds up very well IMHO. A good story, important ideas, that just happened to use Sci-Fi elements to tell it.

Of course my fear is that, coming out of Hollywood, it will be turned into yet another vehicle to preach to us how Evil Republicans(tm) and Capitalism are turning America into Nazi Germany.
