Pornless Blu-ray

The parallels between the death of Beta-max and the apparently impending death of Blu-ray are becoming uncanny. It would seem that Sony completely failed to learn the lessons of the tape format war a quarter century past.

Pron won the VHS wars because it took the porn out of the scummy theaters and in to the bedroom. I don’t see the advantage with HD DVD. People download their porn from the internet, and there are many reasons why the will continue to do so.

Another point, I personally don’t want to see some crack whore porn star at 1080p. 480p works just fine.
