Learning Curve

It appears that maybe--just maybe--some of the muslims are learning how to be civilized:

An Indonesian radio station has held a drawing and colouring contest to portray Denmark's royalty as pigs, in a move meant to retaliate against the publication of cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad in a Danish newspaper.

Yeah, it's slow progress. A bit amateurish. But it beats this:

The publication of cartoons lampooning the Prophet Mohammad by a Danish newspaper last year sparked angry and violent protests in Muslim countries, leaving 50 people dead.

Frothing at the mouth, beheading people, mass rioting and death threats... Those are inappropriate responses to criticism.

Retaliatory political cartooning, however, is a positive response. Very good! Somebody give them a cookie.
