Scamming the Scammers

European due diligence:

New data has shown that the European Union remains embarrassingly off track for meeting its pledges under the Kyoto Protocol, the UN climate-change pact it championed after a US walkout.

No! Surely not the Great European Union. Must be a mistake.

Alright, everybody: the global warming gravy-train is nearing an end. Time to invent the next impending disaster. We wouldn't want to have one less thing to worry about, now would we?

How 'bout... Hegemonizing Flying Space Monkey Swarms? There are definite marketing advantages over "global warming." One can't readily manufacture and market dolls of "global warming," but a Flying Space Monkey doll... Well, it's sure to be a huge hit among the hippie-spawn set.

Very good point on the marketing side but I believe you are late. Didn't they sell theses at the last Anaheim playoff series?

Hrm... I don't believe those were true space monkeys. They lacked that certain interstellar panache. And they certainly weren't approved by the Official United Nations Hegemonizing Space Monkey Swarm Office of Trade and Marketing™.
