Desperate Japanese
Japanese businessmen thinking with the wrong head are getting themselves stranded in the Philippines:
"Heartened?" Well, it's nearly homonymic...
For those of you who haven't been to the Philippines, allow me to translate: "hostess bar" means "teenage whorehouse."
Twenty year old kids have at least a modicum of an excuse for behaving in such a manner; they're young and dumb and... well, you know the rest. But these are supposed to be responsible, middle-aged businessmen capable of exercising a little self-discipline. I guess some people just never grow up.
I have no sympathy for such idiots; let 'em rot in a Flip barrio.
"So they may have been heartened by a young Filipina at the local hostess bar and decided: 'what the heck, I'll go to the Philippines.'"
