Gift idea for that friend with lots of LPs laying about the place: an LP-to-CD burner. I'm sure the rabid pack of obstructionist lawyers retained by the RIAA is filing a lawsuit as I post this, so you may want to buy quickly.

Nice idea, but for most LP to CD recording, the files have to be 'massaged' in an interim step to reduce hisses and pops, unless of course you want your cd to sound like an old LP.
