The Smile

Only ivory tower geeks would need to write a computer program to tell them if another human being is happy or not.

I can't help but laugh at the irony of a post making fun of "geeks" right after a post that references both D&D and Star Wars.

Of course, I myself have no geeky characteristics whatsoever, having nothing to do with MMOGs, computers, D&D or Star Wars.

Oh wait, make that "nothing to do with ANYTHING BUT MMOGs, computers..." That doesn't make me a geek, does it?

Doh!

Nerds, not geeks. There's a subtle but important difference. "Geeks" are people doing nerdy things whom I don't like. "Nerds" are people doing geeky things whom I do like.

Clear? =oP
