So Very French

The French are trying to stop the Arabs from destroying Paris by the time-honored expedient of surrendering:

Angry residents of riot-torn suburbs staged a sit-in Friday near the Eiffel Tower...

"Stop the Violence," read one banner draped on the Wall of Peace near the Eiffel Tower. Some of the 200 demonstrators waved white flags.

It's not really much fun to ridicule them when they make it that easy.
