Kofi Annan is urging internal reform in the United Nations, specifically within the Human Rights Commission.
Annan, you are a vile little worm. Only now, as you feel the claws of public opinion closing around your head and threatening to separate you from the public teat, do you propose "reforming" something that has made the U.N. a laughing-stock for years. You're no more interested in reform than you are in having an independent panel confirm your own complicity in the wide-spread and rampant corruption that has defined the United Nations under your watch.
You are as transparent and politically inept as you are pathetic.
One thing is for sure: if Annan remains in office as SecGen, he will inevitably take the entire organization down with him. At one time, I might have debated whether or not that was a good thing; now I have no doubts.
