Kiss My Fannie

Wonders never cease: I actually agree with Alan Greenspan about something.

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are, from my perspective as a Constitutionalist, illegal organizations. (And the Federal Reserve Bank is only slightly less illegal than they are, but that's an issue for another time.) Unfortunately, we'll never get them abolished, but at least Greenspan's recommendations will, if implemented, severely curb their potential for further financial shenanigans.

They are also, of course, an Affirmative Action employer. Go figure. (q.v.)
