New Batteries

A very efficient, burst-capable variant of lithium-ion batteries has been developed and recently patented by a Nevada laboratory. Good news, because better batteries means more cool portable gadgets will rapidly become possible--gadgets which were only a gleam in a designer's eye a few years before, such as this one, which has become absolutely indispensable to me.

Yes, it's an illness... Technophilia, to be precise. Expensive one, too.
