My biggest complaint is why can't they go back to "Mystery of the week"? Some weird shit happens, they figure out some cool pseudo-science phenomenon and fix it in under an hour. I don't even mind the occasional 2 or 3 part story line, but these 10 hour long movies SUCK. I just want sit down and watch a good sci-fi episode. /rant

Yeah, every show seems determined to have a season-long plot arc these days. One of the things I really liked about the first season of Enterprise was that the episodes were stand-alone stories, very much like the original series. I haven't even bothered with Discovery or Picard, as every fellow Trekkie I've talked to about them absolutely loathes both shows. After watching this video, I can understand why.
