Das Electric Boogaloo
Porsche has introduced their concept for an all-electric customer racing car, (i.e., GT3 racing). While the so-called hypercars of Le Mans racing use a hybrid gas-electric system, (and they are scary fast), there hasn't yet been a true all-electric race car approved for competition.

It will be interesting to see how FIA integrates this car into racing. I suspect they'll have to either put it into class-based races with its own category, or create an entirely separate GT series for all-electric cars, otherwise they'll eat traditional cars for lunch. Look at that short wheelbase. Along with the perfect weight distribution and ultra-low center of gravity which the lack of an engine will create, a regular GT3 car wouldn't stand a chance.

In Race mode, the Mission R delivers a consistent 671 horsepower, but in Qualifying mode, the motors churn out a whopping 1073 horsepower.
