Thursday Tunes
Japanese classical guitarist (and smokin' hottie) Kaori Muraji performs J.S. Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring (BWV 147, No. 10). The famous piece has been performed on every instrument under the sun, but I've always liked it best on guitar. It reflects some of the tone of the harpsichord for which the piece was originally composed, while lending that uniquely mellow sound that only an acoustic guitar can produce.
For those of you who are musically inclined, if you think Bach is damnably hard to play on a keyboard, try it on guitar. Yeesh.
