Attacking the Second From Within

The lefty agenda is proceeding apace:

Two Senate Republicans are seeking to understand the Veterans Affairs office practice of reporting veterans to the FBI’s National Instant Criminal Background Check system.

Currently a veterans assigned a fiduciary trustee to act on their behalf is automatically declared “mentally defective” and is reported to NICS, the database Federal Firearms Licensees use to determine whether a prospective buyer is eligible to buy guns. As of December 2015, the VA has reported 260,381 individuals to the FBI, effectively making them prohibited firearms possessors under the law.

U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley, an Iowa lawmaker who is currently the Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman, finds this unacceptable.

“Our military heroes risked their lives to protect and defend this country and all that we stand for, including our most basic constitutional rights,” said Grassley in a statement. “Now the very agency created to serve them is jeopardizing their Second Amendment rights through an erroneous reading of gun regulations. The VA’s careless approach to our veterans’ constitutional rights is disgraceful.”

Senator, what you aren't understanding is that this is neither "erroneous" nor "careless" but very deliberate indeed. If you want to disarm a population, you start with the people most qualified to use weapons. This is all part of the same long-term plan the left embarked on 100 years ago to turn this country into a socialized pacifist hell like Europe. That commie snatch who used to be the Attorney General actually went so far as to characterize veterans as potential terrorists. How much more clear does it have to get before you dense motherfuckers catch on?

The best thing we could possibly do for veterans right now is shut down the VA and subsidize their care through the private medical system, (or what's left of it after Obama finished pissing on it). It would be a far more effective use of our tax money and it would get one of the federal government's most bloated and corrupt bureaucracies out of our pockets. I still have not registered with the VA medical system. After seeing this, I can't imagine that I ever will.
