Kiss and Make Up
Vincente Fox apologizes to The Donald:
Two things going on here. One is obvious: it's now a high probability that Donald Trump will be the next President of the United States. After eight years of Obama, by the way, that prospect doesn't even phase me.
Less evident, however, is what Fox will gain out of this little mea culpa. He and Trump, you see, are two peas in a pod: they are both commercial real estate moguls. They've bought and sold billions of dollars worth of high-rises, casinos, etc. It's their bread and butter. So with Trump in office, Fox will find himself in a position to acquire a great deal of money trading freely in American real estate -- so long as they're chums.
In a sudden about-face, former Mexican president Vicente Fox has apologized for making derogatory and profane comments about Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump earlier this year, and even extended an invitation to go south of the border.
