Stoned in Denmark

Vizigoth sends along this latest example from Denmark of European lefty rulers trying to commit suicide-by-Islam. Seems to be the trendy thing these days. You'd think it apparent to even the meanest intellect that if you let people import a culture antithetical to your own and abet their attempts to remain un-assimilated, it is inherently dangerous for you. But lefties have never been very bright; dim-witted cowardice is the very core of their so-called belief system. Given a choice between fight or flight, they'll choose flight every single time.

I take comfort in the fact that if this invasion of Europe continues apace, very shortly a sizeable number of leftist politicians are going to find their necks a few inches longer -- and it won't be the Muslims who do it to them. Promising people pie-in-the-sky results from socialism is one thing; you can string that along for decades, (until, as the late great Maggie Thatcher said, "you run out of other people's money"). But you can only compromise the people's safety for so long before they revolt. The action-reaction cycle is much shorter when their daughters are being raped in the streets by unwashed barbarians.

We may be witnessing the imminent death (or at least long-term cocooning) of leftism in Europe -- and hopefully the US. That would be a welcome environment for the latter half of my life, having lived through all this political correctness crap and Hollywood rule-by-fiat for most of my adult life. It's past time for the commies and muzzies to hang together... in the sense that Ben Franklin meant it.
