On The Road Again
Pat Buchanan illustrates that while the Muslim invasion of Europe is well and truly underway, not everyone over there is asleep. In the face of the tide of unwashed barbarians, Hungary, Croatia, and Poland have voted in ultra-nationalist governments and started erecting fences. The support for Merkel's centrists in Germany is crumbling like a month-old cookie. The French nationalist and anti-EU parties are gaining support. The British are calling for massive reforms in the EU charter under domestic pressure from anti-immigration blocs in Parliament.
The EU is doomed, both as an economic and a political entity. That much is beyond doubt. It was doomed the day it was founded; the flood of invaders from the Middle East is simply accelerating the process. The question we must now ask is 'what comes next?' If the EU fractures into ultra-nationalist and isolationist governments, the continent will rapidly become a patchwork of mutually suspicious armed camps, similar to 1914. The inevitable squabbling -- about immigrants and about debts -- could easily flare into border conflicts. Throw in Iran with nukes and Israel isolated from her traditional allies, and you've a lovely recipe for a World War.
In Mr Buchanan's words:
That's the real irony, isn't it? The anti-nationalism and fear-based Islamophilia on which the Left have hung their collective hats may ultimately prove to be the catalyst for that course of events. If it were simply a matter of them being the architects of their own destruction, I'd be rather ambivalent. The ultimate form of social justice, if you will. Unfortunately, it's likely to spark a conflict which will claim millions of lives and inflict immeasurable damage. Like so much of the other traditional wisdom at which Leftists love to sneer, they've forgotten what paves the road to Hell.

If the mass migrations are not halted, the rise of nationalist regimes at the expense of Europe’s liberals and leftists is inevitable.
