Memories of a Broken Dimension
I generally dislike "meta" gaming and messing around with the fourth wall, but this is different enough to pique my interest. For starters, it's really, really difficult to describe. Probably impossible, actually, but I'll give it a try...
Remember when Buckaroo Banzai drove his rocket truck through a mountain? (If that sentence made no sense, you may as well stop reading and go find something else to do). It's like that... sort of. It's disturbing, like a vision of the afterlife plucked from Hellraiser. It's electronic LSD, a visual and auditory representation of a non-Euclidean existence. It's the Red Pill.
If you were born in the Windows era, you'll be confused when you first start the demo, as it begins at a command line prompt. Not an actual CLP; it's the in-game imitation of one... I think. Or maybe not. In any case, if you're having trouble figuring out how to get moving, here's a little help. (Stop reading now if you want to discover things for yourself, as that's part of the fun in a geeky sort of way.)
Press enter to clear prompt

Type REMOTE
enter and wait
Type VOIDSCAN

Type DIVE

Hold onto your hat, because then it gets weird... er.
